I love going to school at BYU Idaho, but I absolutely cannot stand the winters here. It is unbelievable COLD here. I find it unfair that parts of alaska are warmer than here. Same with Canada. Some people had work canceled as well as school being canceled. Except BYU-I continues with school. Goodness! The focasted high for today: 13F. Fantastic...

When I see it in 'F it seems warmer than my 'c. It is bloody cold though, I'll give you that much. Be careful on your way home.
I remember how proudly the proffessors there talked about how Ricks (shows my age) never ever closed due to snow or cold weather. One day while I was there, it was so cold they notified us that it was really too dangerous to walk to class, but classes would be held anyway. They said not to come if you didn't have a way to drive to school. I guess living in Rexburg forces you to develop a crazy tenacity. I must say, it's the only place in the world where I've seen sunbathers lay their towels out on the snow. (That was in May, by the way.)
The fact that campus is on a hill makes it much easier to walk to class. NOT!!!! I fell twice while I was there and had too many close calls to count.
Aparently it is the norm to fall, cause the first time I fell only one person turned their head and didn't stop to help me pick up my things or anything!!!
I totally biffed it in the parking lot to my apartment complex. And I pretty much die a little every time I walk outside. Brrr!!
I remember when I breathed in my lungs would hurt when I was there. I was NOT happy!!!
